Top Civil Servant Urges Malaysians to Fly Jalur Gemilang for National Month
In a Facebook post, he said the MERDEKA spirit should be embraced constantly—not just seasonally—and shared an acronym defining MERDEKA as Manifesting loyalty, Empathy, Relevance, Dedication, Emotion, Karisma (Charisma), and Amanah (Trustworthiness).
His message echoes an earlier call by Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil, who launched the 1 House 1 Jalur Gemilang campaign on July 27 to promote patriotism and unity ahead of the National Day and Malaysia Day 2025 celebrations.
