Tottenham is reportedly interested in talking to Julian Nagelsmann about taking over as their manager following Antonio Conte’s expected departure. Conte’s recent outburst about the team has severely undermined his tenure, and Nagelsmann has become available after being sacked by Bayern Munich.
Julian Nagelsmann to be Tottenham’s new manager?
Spurs had previously considered Thomas Tuchel, the former Chelsea manager, as a possible successor to Conte. Tottenham was also interested in Nagelsmann in 2021 after dismissing José Mourinho, but he opted to move to Bayern Munich instead.
Nagelsmann has previously expressed his desire to manage in the Premier League. Conte flew to Italy to spend time with his family after the team’s recent 3-3 draw against Southampton, and his assistants have taken over training in London.
