Kuala Lumpur: Cruise travel is a risky affair after a Dream Cruises ship turned back to Singapore with a case of infection.
The four-day, three-night cruise to nowhere departed on Sunday (July 11). World Dream had 1,645 passengers and 1,249 crew members on board.
A 40-year-old passenger was identified as close contact of a confirmed Covid-19 case on Tuesday.
The passenger was immediately isolated as part of onboard health protocols, Straits Times reports.
The passenger underwent polymerase chain reaction tests and provisionally tested positive for the coronavirus.
