Trump: Iran Agrees to No Nuclear Weapons
On Monday, Trump announced a five-day pause on US strikes against Iranian energy infrastructure while pursuing back-channel negotiations. Despite talks, the US is considering deploying 3,000 troops to support a possible ground invasion.
During a swearing-in ceremony for new Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin, Trump said Iran agreed never to build nuclear weapons and offered the US a “present.”
