Two Charged For Punching Police Horse In Sydney

Kuala Lumpur: Two men have been charged after a police horse was violently punched during anti-lockdown protests in Sydney.

One of the men was caught on camera but both are remanded in custody for punching the horse named Tobruk.

The incident happened while thousands of unmasked protesters marched against the lockdown in Sydney on Saturday.

Police says though hit, the horse was safe and uninjured after the “awful” encounter.

Police arrested 57 people during the protest with more under investigation.

They face facing hefty fines and penalties.
