Pretty sure at this point, most Malaysians know about Upin & Ipin. They are one of the symbols of a Malaysian childhood, and have been around since 2007. Apparently, it is also on Disney + and Netflix too. However, recently, the “bosses” of the Upin & Ipin production company, Les’ Copaque Production, went on a podcast making remarks about their staff.

Netizens are angrier at the fact that the HR manager is obviously on the side of the owners. Twitter users state that this is proof that most that are leading the HR teams would tend to side with the bosses. Relatively, they are meant to protect the company’s interest rather than the employee’s.
Others state that it is best to avoid companies that are involving families as it can be difficult for an outsider to navigate. Furthermore, another netizen states that they previously worked for a company that is generational. However, the owners are very stern with their own children in order to have a professional work ethic.
