A total of 3.14 million vehicles are expected to enter Pahang between March 27 and April 7 for the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations, with 2.24 million using the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Expressway and 903,000 on the East Coast Expressway 1 (LPT1). The highest traffic is anticipated on April 5 and 6. State official Datuk Razali Kassim urged travelers to plan their trips early to avoid congestion. The government is working to ensure road safety, including ongoing repairs on a damaged stretch in Bentong and the construction of four temporary rest areas along Lingkaran Tengah Utama (LTU), expected to be completed before Aidilfitri.
