Announcing his withdrawal from the Central Executive Committee (CEC) race, he urged for new faces to lead the party in a new direction. Phee highlighted Lim Kit Siang and Lim Guan Eng’s sacrifices but noted that Guan Eng had held key leadership positions for decades. Recently, there are grudges against the Lin family in what seems to be a divided party.
