It was meant to be an ordinary walk home after shopping for Chinese New Year. Instead, a 54-year-old Malaysian woman is now in intensive care, awaiting brain surgery after she was allegedly hit by a motorcycle while walking along the Causeway on Jan 22.

Her daughter, who had been walking ahead, only realised something was wrong when her mother never arrived at the Johor checkpoint. Blood clots were later discovered in the woman’s brain. As the family waits anxiously, they are appealing for dashcam footage, hoping someone saw what happened during those painful, unseen moments.
