An X user states that some foreigners have not seen how horrid the jails in Thailand are, especially for foreigners who misbehave. Additionally, Malaysian users are vehemently upset seeing their neighbors having to deal with such behaviors.
Some asked what would happen to a westerner if he were to do such a thing here. However, X users respond that Thailand and Indonesia are hotspots for “cheap” western tourists. Malaysia can still be considered as a more expensive alternative for them.
