Woman Allegedly Assaulted in Shopping Mall, Police Hunt Suspect

A local woman was allegedly raped by a foreign man in an area of a shopping mall on Saturday, according to reports.

The incident is believed to have happened at about 7pm. The woman, in her 20s, was with her boyfriend at the time. 

Police Trying to Track Down Suspect in Alleged Mall Assault

The suspect, believed to be a Bangladeshi national, allegedly recorded the couple and threatened to spread the footage if the woman refused to follow his instructions.

He then reportedly ordered the boyfriend to leave before assaulting the woman. The victim is believed not to have known or seen the suspect before.

It is understood that police are trying to track him down. The media is seeking confirmation and a response from the police on the case.
