KUALA LUMPUR – Former DAP leader Wong Tack has accused Pakatan Harapan of exploiting Teoh Beng Hock’s death for votes, only to abandon his family once in power. Wong claimed Harapan’s focus on Beng Hock’s 2009 death at the Selangor MACC office was politically motivated, likening it to their handling of the Lynas protest. He criticized Harapan for using “unscrupulous tactics” and skewed narratives to dodge accountability. Beng Hock’s sister, Lee Lan, was told Harapan’s inaction reflects their true nature. A 2014 Court of Appeal ruling found MACC officers’ unlawful acts contributed to his death.
