The connotations towards KL Sentral is generally a mixed bag. In the late 1990s, the government embarked on a modernization of our public transportation systems. However, our main train terminal looks dated and it is obvious that it’s from said era.
KL Sentral a failed terminal?
This is in lieu of the fact that the food court in the terminal has closed down. Users complain that the architecture did not feed the needs of the general public, but rather for an aesthetic one. Some are blaming the Japanese architect for not considering the needs of the users.
Others state that taking the ETS service is also peculiar, they would need to wait in a boarded off area, and would end up on a platform where others are still able to access without a ticket.
