Fahmi noted that the visit deepened the personal relationship between President Xi and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

A key highlight was the signing of 31 memoranda of understanding (MoUs), which he described as a historic milestone. The visit, Xi’s second since 2013, was held at the invitation of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim. Fahmi said the outcomes align with Malaysia’s goals to strengthen partnerships, especially amid current global economic uncertainties.
