Younger Malaysians Now TIRED of RM500,000 “Shoe Box” Sized Homes

It appears that the discussion of Malaysian youth not buying homes lately is becoming a relevant topic. They feel that for RM500,000 a home, they should be getting their money’s worth, especially with the bank loan interest rates. But for that, they’re getting a shoe box sized home that might depreciate in value. 

Younger Malaysians tired of “shoe box” sized homes 

Additionally, Johoreans are complaining that the price of a terraced home starts at RM500,000 there. This would be considered as a steal for Selangorians and KL residents. But, the residents there are unable to afford them and claim that Singaporeans are the ones that can afford it.
