New: 2 Malaysian Motorcyclists Dead, Hit by Lorry

A five-vehicle pile-up occurred near the Sultan Abu Bakar Complex Customs in Johor Bahru, involving a lorry, trailer, bus, and two motorcycles. The lorry’s alleged brake failure led to the collision, resulting in the death of two motorcyclists, aged 49 and 54, who were dragged by the lorry.

The incident took place at a toll plaza, and all individuals involved were en route to Singapore. Emergency services used a crane to lift the lorry and retrieve a pinned motorcyclist’s body. The lorry driver, experiencing chest pain, will be arrested after treatment. Investigations are ongoing.
