Rescue Of A Sun Bear Trapped In An Oil Palm Plantation

Kuala Lumpur: The Sik District WILDLIFE Department in Kedah successfully rescued a male Sun Bear that was trapped in a palm oil plantation.

The incident on July 10 saw the rescuers release the snare on the bear’s left front leg.

The bear was carried out at the scene before being transferred to the Sik District WILDLIFE Office for treatment and monitoring.
