ABIM refers to a judgment issued by the Uyghur Tribunal regarding concerns of genocidal elements in actions perpetrated by the Chinese government against the Uyghurs with regards to attempts to systematically prevent the births of Uyghur babies.
These include Uyghur women in detention being forced to take drugs that impair reproductive functions, pregnant women being forced to have abortions, and Uyghur women being forced to have their uterus removed and undergo “effective sterilization” through surgical methods.
At the same time, the Tribunal confirmed the severe repression of ethnic Uyghur Muslims in the Xinjiang province, says ABIM, adding that its campaign Care for the Uyghurs is not an anti-China campaign.
