South Korea sold several light combat aircraft to Malaysia earlier this month, a news portal from Hong Kong said, adding that it was a multi-billion ringgit deal.

Korea Aerospace Industries Ltd. (KAI), the FA-50 supersonic developer is ready to sign a contract with Malaysia to export 18 FA-50s worth US$1 billion “as early as next week”, according to a South Korean TV station.

KAI equips FA-50s with air-to-air missiles and local AESA (Active electronically scanned array) radars that track multiple targets simultaneously. Does the plane have no stealth technology?
