During his visit to the White House in September 2017, the former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and his group spent at least US$259,724 (RM1.19 million) at the Trump Hotel, of course, owned by then President Donald Trump.
The Washington Hotel
The US House Oversight Committee says Najib was among officials from six countries, including China, ‘seeking to influence American foreign policy’ and spent US$10,000 per night on the presidential suite of the Washington hotel, more than US$8,000 for in-room lunches and US$1,500 on a personal trainer.
It was a great life led by the former PM who is now in jail, condemned for his involvement in the SRC International which is linked to the 1MDB scandal.
