Defense Minister Mohamad Hasan, or popularly known as Tok Mat, has said today there is no point in digging or talking about the past on the Littoral Combat Ships or LCS, an issue that caused much drama during the reign of former PM Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
Tok Mat apparently also said he wants to see the completion of the project that sparked outrage after the Public Accounts Committee revealed that none of the ships had been completed, although the government had already paid RM6.08 billion to Boustead Naval Shipyard, which won the contract through direct negotiations.
Invisible army boats
The Pakatan Harapan had at that time insisted that the project be terminated or halted in order for the MACC to investigate the matter where billions of Ringgit were lost and the vessels remained ‘invisible’. Maybe we can get real invisible army boats now?
