After Adam Adli, Deputy Minister of Sports made a comment that the Sports Council is rigged by corruption, many people felt hurt and some commented that it was not appropriate. Joining the fray of naysayers is PAS Selangor Youth Chief Mohamed Sukri Omar who says Adam Adli is showing an ‘opposition’ mentality and should not criticise the organisation.
Corruption within sports bodies must be dealt with in order for Malaysian athletes to realise their full potential, says Adam Adli. And sure it raised havoc on social media, where most comments are in favour of getting rid of corruption in all spheres in Malaysia.
PAS Selangor Youth says let it be corrupt?

But the PAS youth in Selangor feels differently. “The attitude of the opposition mentality and attacking without a check will never solve the problem. This (Adli) is not the era of students who can act and speak arbitrarily. Yes, you are already in the soft seat of the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, so appreciate every moment of being in a ministry. Look for strength and not drag into a pointless debate. Sports should unite Malaysians. Don’t be naughty, lazy and reckless YB Deputy Minister Adam Adli ruin it!” is the advice of the PAS youth in Selangor.
