Historic: Unity Gov’t parties signs MoU

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and other leaders of the unity government formally signed a memorandum of understanding today.

In addition to Anwar, BN chairperson Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Sabah Chief Minister Hajiji Noor, Sarawak Premier Abang Johari Openg, and Warisan president Mohd Shafie Apdal were present at the signing ceremony, which took place today at the Prime Minister’s Office in Putrajaya.

Anwar described the cooperation as a historic moment in the country’s politics, saying it has a clear goal of ensuring a stable government that focuses on good governance and economic development.
