Three people have given police statements, including a campsite operator, in connection with the deadly landslide at the Father’s Organic Farm campsite near Batang Kali, said Suffian Abdullah, chief of the Hulu Selangor district police, adding that they were summoned to the Hulu Selangor district police headquarters (IPD) yesterday afternoon to assist with the investigation.
Campsite operator questioned
“One is the owner of Father’s Organic Farm, a man in his 50s, and the other two are his employees, both in their 30s,” he said at a press conference today.
The Batang Kali landslide, which occurred at three campsites at 2 a.m. on Friday, has claimed the lives of 24 people. A total of 61 people survived the landslide.
