There is a fine line when it comes to bringing out the truth of an oppressed group, and looking like a woke individual who claims Lionel Messi’s celebrations at the World Cup were misogynistic.
Lionel Messi’s Instagram post of him winning the World Cup is “misogynistic” as it surpassed the likes of a TikToker, Bella Poarch. The user claimed that Bella practised hard for her TikToks and Messi just simply “posed” for his photo.
Woke is unhappy with Messi
Some are claiming that the original post is satire. However, with “woke-ism” we may never know if it’s a real rant or not. It is a hint that it is sarcasm. Others are disagreeing with the tweet stating that Messi actually worked hard to win the World Cup for Argentina.
Woke people came to the rescue and claimed that Bella Poarch is indeed getting bullied again with tweets like these. In all fairness, she did not exactly ask for the attention she is getting, regardless of her TikTok gaining millions of views.
