After the whole scandal of entrepreneurs paying their staff for low wages and requesting their staff to do a lot of work, Mcdonalds and other big chain restaurants are taking the heat for doing similar things to their staff.

This is after the government announced that the wages are to be increased to RM1,500 and McDonalds decided to pay their workers an hourly wage. Backlash on the store managers going on overseas vacations while the lower ranked staff are working to the bone are also apparent in the comments.
They are making RM7.50 an hour, and if they are working a full 9-10 hour workday, they will get RM1,500 per month. However, it seems that EPF and Socso are not included in hourly wages as they are not listed as full timers.
Another netizen pointed out that this could be the reason why restaurant service is declining in Malaysia. Netizens are calling for the government to check on the situation and how major companies are allowed to do such things.
