Yanto was speechless when he arrived at the car showroom and appeared very touched with a gift offered to him by is boss, Xu Hui Xing, who is an employer of a garment-manufacturing company in Pontian. Yanto worked for him for 10 years and he showed appreciation for the great work done by the Indonesian staff with the gift.

In response to a Proton salesperson’s TikTok video, Xu contacted the company to inquire about the availability of Proton Saga models since he intended to purchase one for an Indonesian employee.
Sin Chew Daily claims that Yanto joined Xu’s business shortly after it was founded and remained committed to it during the Covid-19 pandemic. On January 11, Xu instructed Yanto to visit the vehicle centre so that she could meet a client and take measurements while keeping the gift a secret.
