Taliban Demands Masks for Mannequins in Kabul

Taliban Masks Mannequins In Kabul? Seriously? The Taliban has banned shopkeepers in Afghanistan’s capital, Kabul, from using uncovered mannequins to display clothing in shop windows, forcing owners to completely cover their faces in masks.

Initially the order had been to behead all mannequins as the regime cited Islamic law banning statues in human form as they could be worshiped as idols, but some Kabul shop owners pushed back against the edict which they said damaged sales.
