The Ministry of Education has promised to replace the RM109,000 in Early School Assistance (BAP) that was stolen from an incident in Semenyih town last Monday, and distribute it to students before the next school session in March.
Tea-break Teacher
Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek acknowledged the mistake and said the Ministry is waiting for approval from the Ministry of Finance for the replacement. The teacher apparently went on a tea-break leaving the cash in his car and it was stolen.
She emphasized that the priority is returning the rights of the affected students.
