Erling Haaland has spoken about his ambition to help Manchester City win their first Champions League title following his impressive performance in their 7-0 win over Leipzig on Tuesday. The 22-year-old scored five goals in the match, taking him to a season record of 39 goals for City.
Haaland’s drive to win Champions League
Erling states that Guardiola signed him last summer with the aim of achieving European success, saying “they didn’t bring me in to win the Premier League”.
Despite his already impressive record of 33 Champions League goals in 25 appearances, the Norwegian striker believes he can still improve in all aspects of his game and is keen to help his teammates develop.
