Tarik Balik says Speaker - Photo Twitter

Another example of bad politics in the Parliament after the Speaker of the House forced the MP from Kuantan Wan Razali Wan Nor to ‘tarik balik’ or retract his statement on a woman’s march in Kuala Lumpur that he says was organised by an LGBT group.

The Speaker Johari Abdul, asking the other MPs to ‘diam’ or shut-up and let the Kuantan MP answer his question, he told the latter he will take actions against the MP if his statement is incorrect.

The Kuantan MP tried not to take responsibility for his statement but forced to retract, he finally said he was not sure about his saying that the rally was organised by an LGBT group. Some LBGT supporters raised flags and banners during last weekend’s Woman’s march in KL. This has given the PN-PAS fodder to attack the government.
