Mentega Terbang Director Received Death Threats and Car Vandalisation

Authorities have initiated an inquiry into treachery and intimidation after the vehicle of the director and screenwriter of the contentious movie Mentega Terbang was vandalised with paint and acid, along with a death threat note left behind today.

The Selangor Police Chief, Datuk Hussein Omar Khan, mentioned that the incidents transpired in Kajang and Ampang Jaya, involving cars being splashed with paint and threatening notes being left. He noted that the individuals filing the police reports were associated with the production of the film Mentega Terbang.

Netizens are claiming that these extremists are hypocrites. Others are citing that true Muslims would not engage themselves in such behaviour. Calls for the government to take serious action against the perpetrators as this is a safety risk for the director.
