The Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) has revealed plans to introduce an open toll payment system in collaboration with highway concession companies. According to a statement released by LLM, the implementation process will take into consideration the existing toll system environment.

Malaysia’s new open toll payment system

This new payment system is the first step towards the development of the Multi Lane Fast Flow (MLFF) system which is currently being actively pursued. The government is aiming to provide users with more options and greater convenience when it comes to paying tolls on highways.

LLM is hoping that highway users will show their support for the improvement of toll operations by providing continuous commitment and feedback. This is a significant move towards a more efficient and user-friendly highway system, which is crucial for the country’s economic development.
