Malaysians are excited to celebrate Hari Raya after a month of fasting. However, the date is still not certain yet due to the astronomical calculations. It is said that the official announcement will be made on the 29th day of Ramadan, which is in fact this coming Thursday.

There are some conservative Malaysians stating that astronomists should not interfere with religious affairs. Others are stating that the person making such statements isn’t a wise one. Furthermore, many are stating that the experts should be left to deal with this matter, regardless if it is a religious matter or not.
