Netizens are stating that the middle lane is primarily used for those who are interested in changing lanes from the right side to the left side, and vice versa. However, in Malaysia, it seems that many are opting to drive slowly in the middle, which can cause disruption on the highway. 

There are some who claim that as long as the drivers reach their destinations safely, there should be no problem. The original poster of said post remarks that this is a massive inconvenience to most drivers. Furthermore, middle lane hoggers are encouraging riskier drivers to make dangerous moves when overtaking other cars.
