There are a plethora of strange stories on Twitter, however, today, one of the strangest is where “Oyen,” an orange cat hopped on an intercity lorry to Singapore. The driver noticed the cat making noises, and proceeded to put it in a cage in case it would make a scene. The driver then passed the cat to others in order to locate its adopters.
Oyen captivated the heart of netizens
Netizens are praising the lorry driver as they state most would leave the cat at the side of the road. However, this driver did his due diligence by leaving “Oyen” with people interested in looking for its adopters. Despite the efforts, nobody came upfront in claiming the cat is theirs, hence the family that is currently taking care of it have adopted it.
Others state that these mystery cats bring good luck to those who decide to take care of them. Malaysians are known for their love of cats, and we have plenty of them. Regardless, some netizens who are superstitious state that these cats tend to bring good luck and then disappear.
