There are a couple of peculiar proposals that are being talked about. One of them is to have problematic students clean toilets as a punishment. As we all know, the toilets in government schools in particular isn’t usually the cleanest place.
According to news reports, the president of the PIBG states that the suggestion to have students clean school signs as a means to teach them about cleanliness and familiarize them with taking care of and managing public assets is not exceptional, but rather widely endorsed.

However, it seems that netizens are vehemently disagreeing with this sentiment. One user states that PIBG should endorse the children to be disciplined, rather than forcing them to clean toilets. Schools should teach children on how to be well mannered and responsible.
Furthermore, others who disagree with this sentiment state that this will connote to the students that toilet cleaners are problematic people. When in reality, many would agree that being a cleaner is a respectable and an honest job.
