The eight individuals, including seven family members, who went missing in a water surge incident at Jeram Mawar waterfall near Chukai, have been identified.

Missing Persons

The family members were named as Karim Abdullah, Putri Balqis Izzati Abdul Rahman, Putri Alleya Maisarah Karim, Putri Nor Fatin Karim, Putri Nurerina Natasya Karim, Muhammad Haziq Ziqree Karim, and Putri Aryana Umaira Karim.

Water Surge in Kemaman

The other missing person is Putri Balqis Izzati’s fiancé, Muhammad Fikri Saliman. Two victims, Azizah Eiyi and her son Muhammad Zulqarnain Haikal Karim, were found earlier. The search and rescue operation was suspended due to unfavorable weather conditions and will resume the next day.
