Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has revealed that the government plans to offer a RM100 e-cash credit to all adult citizens in the country earning an annual income of RM100,000 or less.
RM100 E-Cash credit for B40 and M40 groups
This initiative, totaling approximately RM1 billion, is set to benefit over 10 million citizens aged 21 and above, including individuals from the B40 and M40 groups. The decision comes after witnessing the successful impact of the e-cash program on society.
The government aims to provide the RM100 e-cash credit to qualifying adult citizens across Malaysia, ensuring more than 10 million citizens in the B40 and M40 categories are covered.
