For the past few weeks, some were shocked at the fact that Spotify decided to increase their prices to their customers all over the world. Countries like Singapore, Thailand and 50 other countries, however, it appears that Malaysia is not even affected with these price increases.
Spotify not increasing their prices in Malaysia
Netizens are now joking that we are receiving the perks of being “poor” due to this. Spotify may have another reason for not increasing their prices here, but currently, Malaysians are poking fun at their own country. The economic recession is hitting the country, and it will take us time to get out of it.
Another user called it “Spotify, Rahmah’s version.” Others are stating that they are not complaining about how Malaysia is constantly excluded from other countries, especially if this time, they’re able to actually save some money out of it.
