The luxury brand Chanel constantly releases clothes just like all other luxury fashion houses. However, it seems that the brand is an homage to its own past rather than innovating new fashion styles. Brands like Celine and Loewe are breaking the fashion scene with their iconic new looks.
Chanel’s new collection unimpressive
TikTok page, Sellier Luxury Bags, a pre-loved store selling luxury purses, uploaded a video stating that Chanel’s new clothes are not as impressive as they were. This is especially for the luxury brand’s asking price of at least RM60,000 for a ready-to-wear outfit. Furthermore, they state that this could possibly be their worst collection ever. Shockingly, most users agree with this sentiment.
Luxury shoppers are waiting for the day that the brand would hire a new creative director to jumpstart the brand again. However, fashion brands have always been cyclical as they will never be the hottest brand constantly.
