“I issue a warning to the government, as this concerns the Muslim community, Allah the Almighty, and the Malay Rulers. If the government does not take action, we will take action. How we will take action… wait and see, in a reasonable manner. If we need to bring it to court, we will go, wherever we need to go. God willing, we will defend the sovereignty of Islam until we succeed,” he said during the Budget 2024 debate in the Dewan Rakyat (House of Representatives) today.
