The Singapore Dollar has been higher than the Malaysian Ringgit for over 20 years now. Previously, in the 1980s, they were of equivalent value. Furthermore, the country’s currency is even higher than the Australian Dollar. For the most part, this will affect the tourists from Malaysia headed to their neighboring country.
Singapore Dollar now $1 = RM3.50
Some users who worked in Singapore a few years ago state that back in the day $1 was RM2.80. However, they are shocked that it is RM3.50 now. For Malaysians who are working there, it might be quite beneficial but not so beneficial at the same time. Beneficial that when converted, you’d have more money.
It may not be as beneficial as those working there would definitely have to spend in Dollars on the daily as well. Others claim that working there for 10 years is equivalent to working here for 35 years. Could a hack to retire early in Malaysia be working in our neighboring country?
