The unexpected success and cultural phenomenon of the “Barbenheimer” double bill, which combined Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie comedy with Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer drama, have inspired a new film project. Veteran horror comedy producer Charles Band is behind this spoof, aiming to capture the unique coupling of Barbie’s lighthearted vibe with the darkness of Oppenheimer.

The story follows Dr. Bambi, a scientist doll living in Dolltopia, and takes a humorous yet dark turn when she decides to create an atomic bomb in response to the mistreatment of dolls by human children. The project aims to inject humor into cinema in 2024.
