In a post by Xuan Play, a Malaysian woman recently expressed her annoyance towards mommy’s boys and moms who won’t let go of their sons, turning them into dependent adults. She says such kids tend to stay in their comfort zones and have the same dialogue: “No choice, she’s my mother.” There can be better #relationships between moms and kids, boys specially. You can hug your mom but she must let you grow is perhaps the message.

Enough of Mommy’s Boys
The mothers are part of the problem too, she adds, saying the mothers are worsening the situation by having a major attachment to their grown-up sons. “Jealousy, over-controlling, guilt trip, and more! You’re part of the problem too by doing so to your grown-up son, and you’re making it worse by compromising their lives!” She also advises ALL mommy’s boys out there to stay away from girls if they are not willing to change. And Moms: “Stop being the devil by being overly-attached to your son!”
