Currently, some of the world currencies are rather unstable. The Japanese Yen appears to be falling down in value against the Ringgit. Netizens are suggesting that rather than spending a holiday in Singapore or South Korea, Japan is the place to be for the time being.

However, some users disagree with this statement as they feel the country is still rather expensive. They claim a meal there would cost around RM30 on average which is still expensive for some Malaysians. But it seems that the average meal prices in Kuala Lumpur are similar.
Others compared Singapore to Japan citing that meals in the former are a lot cheaper than the latter. But users showed that Sukiya in Japan has meals that can cost around RM15 with a free flow of green tea.
