Many young adults struggle to afford housing, but 32-year-old Mushamir Mustafa found a unique solution: living in his car. Since January, Mushamir has been living in his Proton Iriz to save money. As a marketing and communications manager, he manages to save RM2,000 monthly.

Inspired by a YouTube video, Mushamir transformed his car into a makeshift home, complete with a bed, generator, and other essentials. “It is so comfortable that you can lie down while watching movies, reading books, listening to songs, and playing video games,” he shared. Despite living in his car, he maintains a routine and visits his mother on weekends.
