ARAFAT: On Saturday, Hajj pilgrims gathered in Arafat, observing the most crucial day of the pilgrimage. Early in the morning, under stringent security and health protocols, they attended the annual Hajj sermon at Namirah Mosque.
Hajj Pilgrims
The day began with dawn prayers in Mina, followed by the journey to Arafat, where Prophet Muhammad delivered his final sermon over 1400 years ago. Pilgrims engaged in prayers and supplications, combining Dhuhr and Asr prayers, and stayed in Arafat until sunset. In his sermon, Sheikh Maher bin Hamad Al-Muaiqly, one of the imams of the Grand Mosque, highlighted Islam’s principles of peace, justice, and family values, urging adherence to Shariah’s ethical teachings.
