SHAH ALAM – The demolition of Shah Alam Stadium can commence anytime after the developer receives the approval permit from the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA). Shah Alam Mayor, Mohd Fauzi Mohd Yatim, confirmed that the demolition permit for the redevelopment of the Shah Alam Sports Complex (KSSA) was issued on June 14.

A final discussion between MBSA, the developer, and technical agencies took place on June 20. While the overall development plan has not been officially received, the demolition permit has been granted, resolving the issue. The redevelopment, involving three phases, is expected to be completed by 2026.
