Apparently, being courteous and polite to elderly women was a thing in the past, especially in our country. A 72-year-old Australian woman was recently harassed by a group of younger men as she told them they were in a women’s coach. They told her that this is not her country.

Netizens find this behaviour appalling as men are literally attacking women in a women’s only coach. Additionally, the woman has been living in Malaysia for a couple of decades. There are other coaches on the KTM train that are gender neutral.
Others are blaming the “rempits” for behaving like this. It is unclear if these men are actually rempits or not, but users state that this behaviour stems from a lack of civic education from their own parents.
